Board games have been played more than a century in different cultures and societies. Different artifacts were found that showed the existence of these games in antiquity.
Mehen is an ancient board game from predynastic Egypt.
Go is an ancient strategic board game originating in China.
Patolli is a board game originating in Mesoamerica and was played by the ancient Mayans.
Board games engage Fortunately, the strategy and knowledge. Board games based on luck are usually controlled by a die. Winners are determined by the skill of the players to launch the corresponding number on the dice. Games that depend on the strategy are hunting for talent, skills and logic. This game is less about luck and not skills and logic. Chance does not diminish its logic and skills. There are also games that require player Knowedge or knowledge in certain subjects as quizmasters and Scrabble.
There are also games that require luck, and the strategy in all aspects of the game. A classic example this is monopoly, where a die is rolled and players try to create an empire of the Board.
